Roles and Permissions
In Parloa, user access and actions are governed by roles, each with a specific set of permissions. Understanding these roles is critical for managing access effectively across tenants and projects.
There are two types of roles in Parloa:
Tenant Roles: Define what a user can do at the tenant level (e.g., managing users or settings across the entire organization).
Project Roles: Define a user's level of access within a specific project under a tenant.
Each role determines the operations users can perform within its scope. Users can have both tenant and project roles or only one of them, depending on the scope of their work.

Modifying Role Permissions
Only Tenant Admins can modify role permissions.
To update a role's permissions:
Navigate to the Roles tab.
Under the Name column, click on the role you want to modify.
Use the toggle switches on the right to enable or disable specific permissions.

Create a New Role
To create a custom role:
Go to the Roles tab and click
. The following displays:
Enter a name for the new role and press Enter to confirm.
Use the toggles to assign the appropriate permissions.
The new role has been successfully created.
